Irvin Leonard Reynolds

Mr. Irvin Leonard Reynolds, age 85, of 882 Oak Tree Ln, Danville, VA, passed away on Saturday, July 28, 2018 at SOVAH Health in Danville, VA.

He was born on October 26, 1932, in Schoolfield, VA, to the late Ray Vaughn Reynolds and Annie Lee Reynolds.

Before his retirement, Mr. Reynolds worked in the weave room in Dan River Mills, as a weaver.

He is survived by his wife, Judy Carr Reynolds, of the residence; daughter, Faith Stamps and husband, Larry, of Danville, VA; step-sons, Barry Carr and wife, Katrina; Jack Carr, III; and Tony Carr; step-daughter, Karen Ferguson; and five step-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Reynolds was predeceased by his brother, Ray Lee Reynolds.

Visitation for Mr. Reynolds will be held on Wednesday, August 01, 2018 at Swicegood Funeral Home from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. A memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 p .m. on Thursday, August 02, 2018 at Kingdom Hall Jehovah Witnesses, 118 Jenny Ln, Danville, VA with Elder Ty Covington officiating. Interment will follow in the family cemetery located at 1242 Hinesville Rd., Dry Fork, VA. At other times, the family will be at the residence of his daughter, Faith Stamps, 205 Walnut Rd., Danville, VA.
