Jesse Lee Pierce, age 65, of 563 Sydenham St., Danville, VA, died on Saturday, September 23, 2017 at Roanoke Memorial Hospital.

Mr. Pierce was born on September 25, 1951, in Danville, VA, a son of the late Latin J. Pierce and Dorothy Jones Setliff. He lived all of his life in Danville, VA, where he was employed with Dan River Mills. Mr. Pierce was of the Christian faith.

Mr. Pierce is survived by his sister, Alice Faye Burton (Keenan); step-father, Daniel T. Sigmon; and nephew, Daniel L. Sally.

A Graveside Service will be conducted on Tuesday, September 26, 2017, at 11:00 AM at Schoolfield Cemetery with Dr. Charles Scearce officiating. The family will receive friends on Monday night from 6:00 to 7:30 PM at Swicegood Funeral Home.
