Lacy Forrest Lowe, Jr.

Mr. Lacy Forrest Lowe, Jr., age 70, of Pelham, NC, passed away on December 31, 2019 at SOVAH Health-Danville.

Mr. Lowe was born on July 28, 1949, in Seaboard, VA, to the late Lacy Forrest Lowe, Sr. and Sammy Sparks Groff.

He served in the United States Navy, retired from US Gypsum in Norfolk, VA and he then worked at Home Depot in sales and was a member of the Church of Bretheren.

Mr. Lowe is survived by his loving wife Mary Lou Lowe; son, Jon Lowe (Alicia); four grandchildren and one great-grandchild; siblings, Jerry Lowe (Pennie), Vickie Lowe Elwart, Nickie Lowe Elliott (Van), Randy Lowe, Doug Hemmings (Teresa), Karen Shephard (Bill), Kim Patterson and Reva Goss (Chris); also, many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents Mr. Lowe was predeceased by step-sons, Gene and Tim Bobbitt.

Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 04, 2020 at Highland Burial Park with Lacy’s uncle, Don Sparks as special speaker. Visitation will be held from 6:00 until 7:30 p.m. on Friday, January 03, 2020 at Swicegood Funeral Home. There will be military honors provided by the Post 1097.
