Maconey James Bowe, age 86, a resident of Roman Eagle Nursing Home, passed away on Monday, October 2, 2017 at SOVAH Health Center. Mr. Bowe was born in Danville on May 20, 1932, the son of the late Sadie Graves Bowe and James Bowe.

He is survived by three sisters, Elizabeth Guthrie, Barbara Jones, and Hazel Williams, all of Danville, and two brothers, Leon Bowe and Joseph Bowe, also of Danville. Other survivors include a host of nieces and nephews.

The family will be receiving family and friends at the home of Barbara Jones, 459 William Drive, Danville, VA. A memorial service will be held at the Community Site, 340 William Drive, Danville, VA 24540. Please contact the family for more information.
