Margaret (Harville) Cobb

Mrs. Margaret Harville Cobb, age 101, of Danville, VA, passed away on Sunday, June 30, 2019 at Riverside Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center.

Mrs. Cobb was born on December 11, 1917, in Danville, VA, to the late Claude Thomas Harville and Blanche Samuels Harville. She later married Samuel A. Cobb who preceded her in death. She was employed at Dan River Mills and was of the Baptist faith.

Mrs. Cobb is survived by her children Dorothy Keesee (Phil) of Danville, VA, Wayne Coffey (Fran) of Gaffney, SC, Betty Holley (Edward) of Danville, VA, and Anna Ludwick of Danville, VA; nine grandchildren; and thirteen great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband Mrs. Cobb was predeceased by three sisters; one brother, one grandson and one great-grandson.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, July 2, 2019 at 3 PM at Swicegood Funeral Home with the Rev. Bob Yeaman officiating. Visitation will be held at 1:30 until 3:00 PM at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Danville Memorial Gardens.
