Mrs. Ann Elizabeth Clark Kirby departed this life for Heaven on October 16, 2018 at 2:20 PM.
Ann was born on June 16, 1930 in Danville, Virginia. Ann lived her entire life in Danville and attended Riveroak Church of God. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Giles (Jack) Kirby, her mother and father, Ora and Spencer Clark, and her brothers, Russell, Haywood, Daughtry, Spencer (Junior), Lee, and Gary.
She leaves behind two daughters, Kathy K. Carter and Gail K. Crowder (Ronald), four grandchildren, Jeremy, Timothy, Janel and Kathryn; seven great grandchildren, Mykala, Logan, Noah, Landon, Lucas, Jack and Olivia; and her nephew, Billy Wayne Barber.
A celebration of our Mother’s life will be conducted on Friday, October 19, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Swicegood Funeral Home with the Reverend Mike Wiles, Reverend Don Webb and Ann’s favorite son-in-law, Ronald Crowder. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 prior to the service. A private interment will follow the service.
