Mr. Noble James Keatts, age 83, of 14446 Martinsville Highway, Cascade, VA, died on March 5, 2019 at SOVAH Health in Danville, after being in declining health for the past seven weeks.
Noble was born in Pittsylvania County on September 9, 1935, to the late Horace and Pearl Keatts. He lived all his life in the Pittsylvania County area. Noble served his county in the United States Army and toured in Germany.
He retired from Dan River Mills Inc., after 45 years of service. Noble was a member of Mt. Calvary Pentecostal Holiness Church.
Noble is survived by his wife of 62 years, Ethel Brown Keatts; son, James Keatts (wife Tamara); granddaughter, Lauren Keatts; brother, Marvin Keatts; sister, Iris Jones.
In addition to his parents Mr. Keatts was predeceased by brothers, Burton, Elvin, and Willis Keatts; sisters, Jereline Hyler, Frances Hyler, and Edna Davis.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 09, 2019 at Mt. Calvary Pentecostal Holiness Church with Pastor Kenny Gunn and Rev. Gary Robertson officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. At other times, the family will be at the residence, 14446 Martinsville Hwy, Cascade, VA. Interment will follow in Danville Memorial Gardens.
