Priscilla Mae (Closson) Pearson

Mrs. Priscilla Mae Pearson, age 85, of 220 Moffett St., Danville, VA, passed away peacefully with loved ones by her side, on Thursday, June 6, 2019 at her residence.

Mrs. Pearson was born on June 8, 1933, in Apponaug, Rhode Island, to the late Charles Closson and Mae Morales Closson. She lived most of her life in New Port, Rhode Island.

She was a homemaker and was a member of Stoners Grove Baptist Church.

Mrs. Pearson is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Billy James Pearson, Sr. of the home; children, Billy James Pearson, Jr. of N.C., Veronica Lynn Pearson of the home, Bervin David Pearson, Sr. of  N.C. and  Shawn Wesley Pearson, of N.C.; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and niece, Frances DeSilva of CA.

Graveside services will be conducted Saturday, June 8, 2019 at 10 a.m., at Floral Hills Memory Gardens with the Reverend Billy Pearson, Jr. officiating. The family will be receiving friends at the residence Friday night, June, 7, 2019 6 p.m. until 9 p.m., 220 Moffett St., Danville, VA 24540.
