Rosa Kathleen (Tuck) Bernard

Mrs. Rosa Kathleen Tuck Bernard, age 77, of 3261 Water Oak Rd., Callands, VA, passed away on Friday, March 09, 2018 at Chatham Health and Rehabilitation Center.

She was born on August 04, 1940, in Pittsylvania Co., VA, to the late Ladison Hylton Tuck and Clarice Adkins Tuck.

Mrs. Bernard was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.

She leaves to cherish her memory her children: Wendy Irby and Ricky Bernard, of Callands, VA; Tony Bernard (Kathy), of Snow Creek, VA; Charles Bernard (Trudy), of Danville, VA; and Donald Bernard; grandchildren: Jonathon Bernard, Tony Bernard Jr., Brittney Tosh, Justin Tosh, Nick Bernard, Christi McBride, Stacey Compton, Taylor Bernard, John Bernard, Densie Shelton, Curtis Wells, Jerry Morgan, Roxanne Rigney, and Jason Rigney; sixteen great-grandchildren; and brothers, Eddie Carlton Tuck and Douglas Clayton Tuck.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Bernard was predeceased by her husband, Ernest Bernard and grandson, Chad Bernard.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at Barker Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Nester officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will take place in Oakridge Christian Church Cemetery, 1181 Museville Rd., Chatham, VA 24531. At other times, the family will be at the residence of her daughter, Wendy Irby, 3289 Water Oak Rd., Callands, VA.
