Mrs. Sadie Lewis, age 71, of 2101 Kentuck Rd., Danville, Va. passed away on Monday, July 3, 2017 at Roanoke Memorial Hospital.  Mrs. Lewis was born in Danville, Va, to the late Annie Blankenship Maxey and Howard Maxey.

Mrs. Lewis worked as a secretary for Lewis Construction.

Mrs. Lewis is survived by her loving husband, Terry Lewis; one son, Ricky Wilson and significant other Tammie; daughter, Tina Gauldin and husband Frank; granddaughter, Samantha Barrett; grandson Christopher Wilson; great-granddaughter, Ava Barrett; siblings, Maybelle Worley, Betty Jane Wilson, Judy Maxey, Raymond Maxey, Ronald Maxey and his wife Janet, and Gary Glenn Maxey and his wife, Lesa; father-in-law, Esta L. Lewis; brother-in-law, Ronnie Lewis and his wife, Sylvia; and sister-in-law, Lawana K Lewis and her husband, Roger.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Lewis was preceded in death by one son, Jeffery Wilson; two brothers, Lewis Maxey and Walter Maxey; one brother-in-law, Julius Worley; and one sister-in-law, Shelby Maxey.
