Timothy Otey Obituary
Mr. Timothy Otey, age 58, of Pelham, North Carolina, passed away on November 9, 2019 at Cone Hospital, Greensboro, North Carolina.
Mr. Otey was born on March 27, 1961, in Cincinnati, Ohio, to the late Ernest Otey and Elva Thomas Otey. He worked as a mechanic at Global Textiles and 22 years at Masonite in Danville, VA. He was of the Methodist faith.
Mr. Otey is survived by his loving wife, Pam Steinmetz Otey, of the home; daughters, Samantha Otey and Candace Otey; son, TJ Otey and wife Annie Otey; grandchildren, Megan Evans, Alyssa Evans, Hunter Otey, Jonnie Otey and Lena Otey; loving cousins, David Thomas and his wife Melissa Thomas, their children, Jacob, Andy, and Madison Thomas, Scott Thomas and his wife Angie Thomas, their children, Logan and Austin Thomas (U.S. Marine); and Tim’s sidekick, “Lucky”.
A visitation will be held Friday, November 15, 2019 from 6 PM until 8 PM at Swicegood Funeral Home.
