Virda Ann (Jones) Mitchell, age 63, of 252 Parker Rd., Apt. 69, Danville, VA, passed away on Thursday, May 23, 2019 at SOVAH Health-Danville.

She was born on August 14, 1955, in Danville, VA, to the late William Parrish Jones and Julia Ann Dixon Jones.

Virda worked as a manager for KFC and was of the Baptist faith.

She is survived by her children, Kimberly Wyatt Emerson and Bryan Scott Jones and wife, Kristi; grandson, Tristan Allen Wayne Presley; siblings, Michael P. Jones and wife, Karri; Cynthia G. Jones; Wayne D. Jones and wife, Dawn; Wanda C. Jones; and Donna J. Amos and husband, Myron; numerous nieces and nephews; and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.
