Virginia (Chandler) Snow

Mrs. Virginia Chandler Snow, age 95, of 27 Riverview Avenue, Danville, Virginia, died on Tuesday, April 30, 2019 at Roman Eagle Health and Rehab.

Mrs. Snow was born on August 25, 1923, in Rockingham County, North Carolina, to the late Charlie Guther Chandler and Theodoria Crabb Chandler.

Mrs. Snow was a housewife and she was a member of the Timberlake Baptist Church.

Left to cherish her memory are her sons, William Swanson Snow Jr. and wife, Judy, of Danville, Virginia; Stephen Malone Snow and wife, Linda, of Satellite Beach, Florida; one sister, Mary C Herndon of Danville, Virginia; as well as her grandchildren, Dr. Kevin Snow (Kim), Ricky Lawrence (Andrea), Matthew Fuller, Shawn Snow (Suzanne), Justin Snow, and Chris Snow (Stephanie); and ten great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Snow was preceded in death by her daughters, Bonnie S. Fuller, and Faith S. Dalton; her brothers, Richard W. Chandler, Charlie E. Chandler; her sisters, Mozille C Stewart, Pearl C. Wyatt, Thelma C. Hopkins, Doris C. Cox, Barbara Ann C. Blackwell.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday, May 3, 2019 at 2:00p.m. at Timberlake Baptist Church with Reverend Walter Yancey officiating. Visitation will be held Thursday, May 2, 2019 from 6:30p.m. to 8:00p.m. at the church. Family will be receiving friends at the residence of her son, William, 1578 Old Hunting Trail, Danville, Virginia.  Interment will follow at Danville Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Timberlake Baptist Church Building Fund.
