Zamar Isiah Hairston

Zamar Isiah Hairston,  of  1575 Old Richmond Blvd, Danville, died on Thursday, July 5, 2018 at Roanoke Memorial Hospital in Roanoke, VA.

Zamar was born on July 5, 2018, in Roanoke to Devonte Hairston of Kentuck, and Melody Carter.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brothers, Jaiden Hairston and R’Taveon Carter; his grandmothers, Paula Carter Law,  Madra Ingram, and Leola Covington;  and his grandfather, Marcus Davis;  his great-grandmothers, Mary Carter and Joyce Toppin; his aunts, Dametria Ingram, Desiree Carter, Chanel Davis, Lisa Giles, Gwendolyn Davis, Janel Legore, and Janella Davis.  Other survivors include his uncles, Jamika Hairston, Michael Carter, and Samuel Carter, Jr.  He was predeceased by his grandfather, Samuel Curtis Carter, Sr.
Funeral services for Zamar Hairston will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July, 11, 2018 at Barker Funeral Home with Rev. Jonathan King officiating. Interment will follow in Wilson-Bray Family Cemetery in Cascade, VA.
