Alvis Levi Fitch, Jr.

Alvis Levi Fitch, Jr. age 83 of Yulee, FL, passed away on Wednesday, May 19, 2021, at his residence after a decline in health.

Mr. Fitch was born on June 23, 1937, in Danville, VA, the son of the late Alvis Levi Fitch, Sr. and Ruth Ann Scearce Fitch. He lived most of his life in Danville before moving to Florida. Mr. Fitch was employed with the Danville Fire Department until his retirement. He was married to Jeanette Ferguson Fitch who preceded him in death.

Mr. Fitch is survived by his children, Donna Fitch White (Brian); Kathy Fitch Fowlkes (Tony); A. Shannon Fitch (Tammy); and Becky Fitch Powell (George) and ten grandchildren.

Graveside services will be conducted on Sunday, May 23, 2021 at 4:00 PM in Highland Burial Park with Reverend David Hatcher officiating. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 2:00 until 3:30 PM at Swicegood Funeral Home.
