Ann Marie Hurd

Ann Marie Hurd, age 97, of Danville, VA, passed away on Thursday, September 28, 2023, at Brookdale Danville.

Ms. Hurd was born on November 12, 1925, in Danville, VA, a daughter of the late Benjamin Jonathan Hurd and Maggie Davis Hurd.

Ms. Hurd lived her life in Danville and was employed with AT&T as an operator until her retirement. She was a lifelong member of First Christian Church and West End Christian Church.  

Ms. Hurd is survived by eleven nephews and nieces.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by four brothers and three sisters.

Graveside services will be conducted Saturday, September 30, 2023 at 4:00 PM at Highland Burial Park with Bob Thurman officiating. Visitation will be held on Friday evening from 6:00 until 7:00 PM.
