Brenda F. Land

Brenda Clack Land, age 78, of 198 Cumberland Dr. Danville, VA, passed away on Sunday, April 2, 2023 at her residence.

Mrs. Land was born on February 13, 1945, in Danville, VA, a daughter of the late William Willis Clack and Bertha Lena Hoover Ruppe. She lived her life in Danville where she was employed with Dan River Mills as a weaver for twenty seven years. Mrs. Land was married to Danny Eugene Land who preceded her in death on August 27, 2018.

Mrs. Land is survived by her children, Michele Land and fiancé Richie Jackson, Danny Land, Jr. and wife Beverly, Brian Keith Land and wife Jennifer, of Abilene, KS; Laura Siegfried and husband, William of Richmond, VA; and Larry Dwayne Land and wife, Erica; grandchildren, Chase, Quentin, Jordan (Kari), KaLeigh, and Savannah Land, Colby Mein, Dylan Mein and Taylor Slack, and Darian and Cianna Watson; great grandchildren, Cayden Mein, Kalleigh Curtis, Adalyn Fulton, Aryn Elise Fulton, Charley Kernodle, Amelia Kernodle, Skylar Robinette, Willow Land and baby Liam on the way.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her grandchildren, Aaron Land and Ashley Kernodle.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday April 5, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Swicegood Funeral Home with Reverend Daryl Joyce officiating. Visitation will be held Tuesday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at the funeral home and at other times the family will be at the residence. Interment will follow in Danville Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to a cancer society, hospice organization or a favorite charity.
