Brenda Watlington

Brenda Watlington, 79, of Danville, passed away on Friday. She was the daughter of Empress and Herman Lowe.

A memorial service will be held on October 24, 2022 at 11:00am at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints 3058 N Main St, Danville, VA 24540.

Brenda was a wonderful wife, sister, friend, mother, and grandmother. She loved her grandchildren. She married James Watlington on December 16, 1961 and spent most of her life in Danville. She retired as a bookkeeper from Commonwealth Machine Company in 2013. She enjoyed being involved in ABWA and The Red Hat Society. She was a lifelong member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Brenda is survived by her loving husband, James E Watlington of the residence, daughter Jo Ellen Wagner (Ben) of Bedford, TX, and grandchildren Byron, Kathryn, and Levi Wagner of Bedford, TX.

Brenda was preceded in death by her parents, Empress and Herman Lowe, sister Judy Thurman, and brother Carl Lowe.
