Obituary
Mr. Carl D. Boyd, age 54, of Danville, VA, passed on March 17, 2023 at Moses Cone Hospital in Greensboro, NC.
He was born on January 12, 1969, in Danville, VA, to the late Paul Boyd, Sr. and Joann Aldrich Boyd, living.
Mr. Boyd worked at Inframark as a supervisor and was of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by his children: Carl Boyd Jr.; Frankie Boyd; Christopher Boyd; Zackery Boyd; Michael Shane Boyd; Heather Boyd; and Megan Etchison; siblings: Paul Boyd, Jr.; Darrell Boyd; Randy Humphries; Tammy Boyd; Knikki Coke; and Melissa White; grandchildren: Jaxson Boyd; Elizabeth Boyd; Brailyn Boyd; Hunter Boyd; and Noah Boyd; and his companion for over 30 years, Barbara Boyd.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 22, 2023 at Barker funeral home. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 23, 2023 at Barker Funeral Home with Rev. Roger Ewing officiating. Interment will follow in Knoles-Eden Cemetery on Bent Rd in Meadows of Dan, VA.
