Carolyn Cadd

Carolyn Anne Cadd, age 77, of Blairs, VA, passed away on Monday, September 18, 2023, at Sovah-Danville.

Carolyn Cadd was born on June 5, 1946, in Danville, VA, a daughter of the late Wellington Newton and Mary Thompson Newton.

Carolyn lived most of her life in Danville and was employed with Well Spring as a CNA until her retirement.

Carolyn is survived by her children, Matthew Cadd (Brittney), Jamie Smith (Melyssa), Christina Duffer (Eddie), Melissa Smith, Cindy Trammell (Chris) and Kim King (Gerald); brothers, Ronnie Newton, Rickey Newton and Wayne Newton; sisters, Linda Love, Virginia Atkinson, Loretta Howerton, Barbara Wells, and Belinda Jones; twelve grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren and numerous nieces and         nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, September 22, 2023 at 4:00 PM at Swicegood Funeral Home with Reverend Allen Morris officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
