Carolyn Annette Williams Scearce was born on September 19,1942 in Caswell County, North Carolina to the late Woodrow Williams, Sr. and the late Almeda Hubbard.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Woodrow Williams, Jr. (Buddy).
She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Robert Scearce; two sons, Burton Scearce (Andrea) and Paul Scearce; two grandchildren, Grace Scearce (Kalure Preston), Gage Randall (Vanessa Christine); three great-grandchildren, Kace Preston, Karen Reyes, and Westyn Reyes; two favorite nephews, Jody Williams and Mark Williams; and Grand-dog, Gus.
She was a member of Holland Road Baptist Church. Annette passed away peacefully with her family by her side from complications of Parkinson’s Disease and multiple Myeloma.
She was retired from Alliance One, also known as Dimon-Dibrell Bros. She was a longtime treasurer for American Legion Auxiliary Post 325, held offices for the 6th district past Worthy Matron for Kauffman Brydon OES and various star points at Robinson-Bennett OES.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, February 20, 2021 at 2 P.M. at Danville Memorial Gardens with Reverend James Mayes and Dr. Charles Scearce officiating.
The family requests that no food donations be made, rather given to those in need. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that a donation be made to a charity of your choice.
