Mr. Charles Humphries, Jr., age 87, of Danville, VA, passed away on Thursday, November 11, 2021 at SOVAH Health-Danville.
He was born on March 18, 1934, in Cherokee County, SC, to the late Charles Humphries, Sr. and Ola Tessnear Humphries.
Before his retirement, Mr. Humphries work in Dan River Mills.
He is survived by his long-time companion, Margaret Houser, of the residence; step-children, Gloria Houser, of Callands, VA; Barbara Boyd, of Danville, VA; Mary Steward, of Danville, VA; George Houser, Jr.; of Ringgold, VA; and Ivy Goddard, of Danville, VA.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Humphries was predeceased by his first wife, Frances Humphries; and his step-children, Hayes Houser and Wanda Oscar.
