Charles Edward Rudder, Sr.

Mr. Charles Edward Rudder, Sr. , age 70, of Ringgold, Virginia, passed on January 5, 2021 at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital.

Mr. Rudder was born on November 28, 1950, in Roxboro, North Carolina, to the late William Edward Rudder and Rosa Lillian Rudder.

Mr. Rudder worked at Southside Cabinet Shop for many years before his retirement and was of the Baptist faith.

Mr. Rudder is survived by his children, Linda Laws (Junior), Charles Edward Rudder, Jr., Steve Rudder (April), James Dickerson (Angie), Hannah Beaugez (Jerry), Donald (Ray) Dickerson;  nineteen grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Rudder was predeceased by his wife, Brenda Rudder; sister, Peggy Smith; brother, William David Rudder; and two great-grandchildren. He was also predeceased by his girlfriend, Minnie D. Bates

Memorial Services will be conducted Saturday, January 16, 2021 at 2 PM at Church of the Second Coming with Reverend Leone Burchett officiating.
