Claudia Renee Somers

Claudia Renee Somers, age 50, of Ringgold, VA, passed away on Friday, November 24, 2023, at Carillion Roanoke Memorial Hospital.

Ms. Somers was born on January 8, 1973, in Taipei, Taiwan, a daughter of John Epps and Brenda Hayes Epps.

Ms. Somers lived most of her life in Danville and Ringgold and was employed as the manager of Western Sizzlin.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her son, William “Ryan” Ragsdale; brothers, Chris Somers and Fred Walker and a nephew, Landen Somers.

A memorial visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 29, 2023 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Swicegood Funeral Home.
