David Gammon Obituary

Mr. David Paul Gammon, age 40, of 471 Church Avenue Danville, Virginia, 24540, passed on October 16, 2021, at his residence.

Mr. Gammon was born on July 30, 1981, in Durham, North Carolina, to Lois Wyatt and the late David Matthew Gammon.

He lived his life in Danville where he worked in production for many years. Mr. Gammon was a talented singer, songwriter, and musician. He played with his band Cowboy Outlaws, with true brotherly friends, Howard Griffin, Jason Mcmillian and Bobby Crumb.

In addition to his mother, Mr. Gammon is survived by his loving wife, Lisa Knowles Gammon; children, Michelle Hosmer (Nicholas), Mark Standley (Ashley), Mason Standley, Turner Ermatinger; grandchildren, Logan Standley, Christian Standley, Mileena Hosmer, Sadi Sutliff, Zayden Standley, Brayden Sutliff, Cobey Standley, Madelynne Standley, Brooklynne Standley; uncle, George Wyatt, Jr. and William Gammon; and aunt, Betty Collins.

Mr. Gammon was predeceased by his father.

Graveside services will be conducted Friday, October 22 at 11AM at Danville Memorial Gardens with Pastor Mark Tanner officiating. At other times the family will receive friends at the residence.
