David Tate

Mr. David Tate, age 47, of Danville, Virginia, passed on October 19, 2021, at SOVAH Health in Danville.

Mr. Tate was born on July 9, 1974, in Danville, to the late Billy William Tate, Sr. and Ida Tate. He lived his life in Danville where he worked as a cook at K&W Cafeteria for many years.

Mr. Tate is survived by his loving wife, Peggy Tate; daughter, Kimberly Davis; siblings, Bill Tate (Wanda), James Tate (Marsha), Nellie Heffinger (Dennis), Rachel Prockner (Gerald), Kristy Clark (James); sister-in-law, Kathy Tate; and many numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Tate was predeceased by his brother, Billy William Tate, Jr.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, October 21, 2021, at 2 PM at the funeral home with Reverend Kenneth Hammock and Reverend H.C. Price officiating. Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Highland Burial Park.
