Obituary

Douglas Hill, age 75, of Danville, Virginia, passed away on Tuesday June 14, 2022, at his residence.

Douglas was born on February 8, 1947, in Danville, Virginia, to the late Clarence Henry Hill and Rosa Loula Helton Hill.

Douglas worked at Dan River Mills until his retirement.

Douglas is survived by wife Wanda Hill; daughter, Angela Collins (Alan); son, Kevin Hill (Lauren); 7 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; sisters, Ernestine Crabb (Ronald), Katherine Young (Ronald), and Mary Keatts.

In addition to his parents, Douglas was predeceased by brothers, Newton, Curtis, James, and Raymond Hill; sisters, Nannie Mae Keatts, and Mabel Cross.

Memorial services will be conducted Sunday June 19, 2022, at 3:00 pm at Community Baptist Church with Reverend Ray Mintz and Ronald Young officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.
