Edith Perdue Bobbitt, age 83, of Danville, VA passed away on Saturday, July 17, 2021, at her residence.

Mrs. Bobbitt was born on January 14, 1938, in North Carolina, a daughter of the late William Clyde Perdue and Ruby Vivian Fogleman Perdue. She lived most of her life in Danville where she was employed as a registered nurse until her retirement.

Mrs. Bobbitt is survived by her children, Don W. Bobbitt and Donna Bobbitt-Zeher; son-in-law, Michael Zeher; and grandchildren, Carolyn Dawn Bobbitt, Katherine Elizabeth Bobbitt-Zeher and Madeline Marie Bobbitt-Zeher.

To honor Mrs. Bobbitt’s wishes, there will be no services conducted.

Donna and family,
I, too, have just been through this.  I lost my Dad in January and we were only able to celebrate his life last Sunday.  I will be thinking of you in the coming weeks and hoping that your memories will provide you comfort.  If you need anything, I'm just down the street.
