Eunice Beck Bradshaw

Eunice Beck Bradshaw, age 85, of Danville, went to meet her Lord and savior on Thursday, January 12, 2023 at  Riverside Health and Rehab Center.  

She was born in Lexington, NC on May 12, 1937, the daughter of the late Will Bethany Beck and Carrie Mae Waller Beck.  On July 25, 1959, she married James Walter Bradshaw who predeceased her on September 26, 2008.  She was a member of Community Baptist and had worked in the sewing room of Dan River, Inc. for several years. 

Mrs. Bradshaw is survived by her children: Vernon R. Bradshaw, I (Terri), of Danville, VA; Debbie B. Powell (Jacob), of Danville, VA; and Penny B. Mays (Victor), of Sutherlin, VA; grandsons: Vernon Ray Bradshaw, II (Katy); Vincent Bradshaw (Fiancée, Myrtle Cox); Allen Mays (Tina); Jonathon Mays; and Bobby Cheape; granddaughters, Hope D. Bradshaw (Randy Powell) and LeAnn Moyer (Charles); step-grandchildren: James Jennings, Quentin Jennings, and Quenterra Jennings; twenty-four great-grandchildren; and brothers, Charles W. Beck and John W. Beck.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Bradshaw was predeceased by her brothers, George M. Beck and Paul D. Beck; and sisters, Lorraine Bradshaw, Frances V. Beck, and Maxine Lee.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, January 16, 2023 at Barker Funeral Home with Rev. Bob Yeaman officiating. Visitation will be held two hours prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Danville Memorial Gardens. On Sunday, January 15, 2023, the family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the residence of Mrs. Bradshaw’s son, Vernon R. Bradshaw, I, 178 Crystal Lane, Danville, VA 24540.
