Mr. Faron W. Hardy, Sr., age 64, of Pelham, NC, passed away on Saturday, June 11, 2022 at Moses Cone Hospital in Greensboro, NC.
He was born on January 04, 1958, in Eden, NC, to the late Billy Clyde Hardy and Judy South Hardy.
Mr. Hardy worked as a carpenter and was a member of Holland Road Baptist Church.
He is survived by his son, Faron W. Hardy, Jr.; grandchildren, Kaytlin Hardy; Elisabeth Hardy; and Ethan Hardy; great-grandson, Jamison Myers; sisters, Shelby Durham and Bonnie Peacock; niece, Sheree Walker (Jacob); nephew, Wesley Durham (Sarah); great-niece, Alyssa Walker; and great-nephew, Thor Walker.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 15, 2022 at Swicegood Funeral Home. Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 16, 2022 at Odell Family Cemetery, Keeling Dr., Ridgeway, VA with Rev. James Mayes officiating. At other times, the family will be at the residence of Mr. Hardy’s sister, Shelby Durham, 320 Burke Rd., Pelham, NC 27311.
