Freddie Warren "Fuzzy" Eanes

Mr. Freddie Warren “Fuzzy” Eanes, age 74, of Ringgold, Virginia, passed away on July 5, 2019, at Duke University Hospital in Durham, North Carolina.

He was born on January 16, 1945, in Danville, Virginia, to the late John Walter Eanes and Rada Hensley Eanes.

Mr. Eanes worked at Blackwell Dodge until his retirement and was of the Baptist faith.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Joyce Warner Eanes; brothers, Jimmy Davis Eanes (Karen) and Ernest William Eanes (Nancy); sisters-in-law, Nan Hart Eanes and Mary Jane Eanes; son, Timothy Eanes; step-children Allen and Diane Stowe; grandchildren, Edward and Michaela Pugh, and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Eanes is predeceased by his siblings, John Wayne Eanes, Elwood Glen Eanes, and Robert Lee Eanes.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, July 9, 2019, at Swicegood Funeral Home at 2:00pm. Visitation will be one hour prior to funeral services. At other times, the family will be accepting guests at the residence, 324 Yates Farm Rd, Ringgold, Virginia. Interment will follow at Schoolfield Cemetery.
