Gary "Gravy" Wayne Smith

Mr. Gary “Gravy” Wayne Smith, age 54, of Dry Fork, VA, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, April 30, 2021.

He was born on February 08, 1967, in Danville, VA, to Edna Adams Martin and the late Franklin Edward “Eddie” Smith.

Before his retirement, Mr. Smith worked as a truck driver, and he was of the Baptist faith.

He is survived by his mother, Edna Martin; brother, Jeffrey “JB” Boyd Smith; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A celebration of Mr. Smith’s life will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 02, 2021 at Swicegood Funeral Home with Rev. Daryl Joyce officiating. Visitation will be held from 1:15 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. At other times, the family will be at the residence of his mother, 3560 Franklin Tpk., Apt. D, Danville, VA.
