Harvey Freeze, Jr.

Mr. Harvey Freeze, Jr., age 91, of Danville, Virginia, passed on Wednesday, March 31, 2021 at SOVAH Health of Danville.

Mr. Freeze was born on September 28, 1929, in Danville, to the late Harvey Freeze, Sr. and Theodoshia Sperry Freeze. Mr. Freeze served his country in the U.S. Army as a Master Sergeant serving two tours in Vietnam, one tour in Korea and one tour in Germany. He retired from the U.S. Army 82nd Airborne after 25 years of service. He later went on to work as a electrical engineer with Miller Brewing for 15 years before his retirement.

Mr. Freeze is survived by his loving wife, Eveline Elsner Freeze; daughter, Jacqueline Freeze; and grandchildren, Michael Freeze, Jessica Freeze and Erica Freeze.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Freeze was predeceased by his son, Patrick Freeze.

Graveside services will be conducted Tuesday, April 6, 2021 at 2 PM at Highland Burial Park with Reverend Myron Bruce officiating. Military honors will be conducted by American Legion Post 1097.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to a charity of your choice.
