Henry Chavers Obituary

Mr. Henry Allen Chavers, age 87, of Danville, VA, passed away on September 24, 2022 at Piney Forest Health and Rehabilitation.

He was born on July 26, 1935, in Alabama, to the late Elek Dave Chavers and Margie Chavers.

Before his retirement, Mr. Chavers worked in the construction field.

He is survived by his fiancée, Lucy Desheilds; sisters, Mary Ann Ledbetter (Dan) and Jearl Woods, both of AL; sister-in-law, Mary Chavers; and fourty-two nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Chavers was predeceased by his wife, Jewell Chavers; sisters, Nomie Mann, Leona Hyatt, Francis (Jessie) Nabors, Nadine Meeks, and Annie Ruth McQueen; and brother, Albert Chavers.
