Howard Jackson Phelps, age 78 of Danville, VA, passed away on Sunday, February 26, 2023, at his residence.
Mr. Phelps was born on November 12, 1944, in Danville, VA, a son of the late Albert Phelps and Irene Turner Phelps. He was married to Christine Gail Phelps who preceded him in death.
Mr. Phelps is survived by his sons, Danny Phelps, Randy Barley and Howard Jackson Phelps, Jr; and by many siblings, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be conducted on Wednesday, March 1, 2023 at 2:00 PM in Danville Memorial Gardens with Reverend Gilmore Hundley officiating.
