James Vance

James Vance, age 66 of Danville, VA, passed away on Thursday, January 13, 2022, at his residence.

Mr. Vance was born on June 14, 1955, in Danville, VA, a son of the late Leroy Vance and Mary Reynolds Vance. He lived most of his life in Danville and was employed as a furniture builder until his retirement.

Mr. Vance is survived by his sister, Violet Vance; nephews, Charles Vance, and Buddy Travis; and niece, Amanda Hyson.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Vance is predeceased by his sisters, Shelby Vance, and Juanita Travis.

Graveside services will be conducted on Wednesday, January 19, 2021, at 2:00 PM at Highland Burial Park with Reverend Zack Kendrick officiating.
