Obituary
Mr. James Olden Wren, age 87, of Danville, VA, passed away on Saturday, September 09, 2023 at SOVAH Health-Danville.
He was born on August 28, 1936, in Gadsden, AL, to the late S M Wren and Katherine Ewin Wren.
Before his retirement, Mr. Wren worked at Goodyear Tire and Rubber for 42 years and was of the Baptist faith. He was a veteran of the United States Marines.
He is survived by his children, Cary and Keith Wren; grandchildren, William Wren, Katie Jones, and Jamie Lee Wren; great-grandchildren, Luke Wren, Emily Cordway, Grayson Jones, and Rosalee Wren Jones; and his companion of thirteen years, Delores Jayne.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Wren was predeceased by his wife, Janice Turman Wren.
