Judy Atkinson Obituary

Mrs. Judy Atkinson, age 74, of Danville, Virginia, passed away on October 24, 2020 at Sovah Health in Danville.

Mrs. Atkinson was born on August 26, 1946, in Harrisonburg, Virginia, to the late Arthur William Lawson and Virginia Samuels Lawson. She lived her life in Danville where she was employed at Dan River Mills and was of the Baptist faith.

Mrs. Atkinson is survived by her sisters, Betty Wade (A.J.) and Patricia Self; and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Atkinson was predeceased by her children, Charles “Chuck” Davis and Timothy Davis; and brothers, Arthur “Sonny” Lawson, Jr. and Alton Lawson.
