Kathy Cozart

Kathy L. Cozart, age 68, of Danville, Virginia, passed away on Thursday, September 9, 2021, at SOVAH- Danville. Mrs. Cozart was born on February 10, 1953, in Danville, to the late Curtis Goins and Viola Crowder Bryant. She lived most of her life in Danville where she was a lifelong member of The Tabernacle.

Mrs. Cozart is survived by her children, Tim Cozart and Jan Hancock; grandchildren, Cybelle Cozart, Katrina Cozart, Kayla Hancock and Abigail Hancock; brother, Ricky Wilson; sister, Dorothy Wyatt; niece, Stephanie Elliott and companion, Alvin Griffin.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Cozart was predeceased by her husband, Larry Cozart; siblings, Brenda Elliott, Allen Goins, Joann Anderson and Jerry Wilson.

Graveside services will be conducted Sunday, September 12, 2021, at 2PM at Floral Hills Memory Gardens with Reverend Joey Bray officiating.
