Larry Wilson Adkins

Larry Wilson Adkins, age 71, of Danville, Virginia, passed away on Saturday, September 30, 2023, at Roman Eagle Health and Rehab.

Mr. Adkins was born on January 21, 1952, in Danville, Virginia, to the late Floyd Wilson Adkins and Carrie Hoskins Adkins. He lived his life in Danville and was employed with Brown & Root as an Equipment Operator. He was married to Frances Holland Adkins who preceded him in death.

Mr. Adkins is survived by his son, Kenny Adkins (April); grandchildren, Elana Barksdale (Chris), MacKenzie Adkins and Colten Adkins; three great grandchildren; sisters, Barbara Walker, Beatrice Dalton; nieces, Cindy Linens (Robert), Robin Tate (Ernie), Rhonda Piercy (Scott), Angie Wray(Matt), Lisa Holland and Susan Holland and nephews, Brian Tickle and Chris Holland.

Graveside services will be conducted Wednesday, October 4, 2023, at 2:00 PM at Highland Burial Park with Jonathan White officiating. Visitation will be held Tuesday evening from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Swicegood Funeral Home and at other times the family will be at his son, Kenny's residence, 2893 Blairmont Dr., Danville, VA, 24540
