Obituary
Leo Voncannon, age 81 of Danville, VA, passed away on Thursday, May 25,2023 at Sovah Health-Danville.
Mr. Voncannon was born on March 4,1942, in High Point, NC, a son of the late William Orrus Voncannon and Mary Mae Harmon Voncannon.
Mr.Voncannon lived most of his life in Danville, VA, where he was the owner and operator of Mr. Electric.
Mr. Voncannon is survived by his daughters, Belinda Grady (James) and Jill McBride (Steve); son, Adam Voncannon (Christina) grandchildren, Timothy McBride (Lindsay),James Leo Grady (Courtney), Ashley Voncannon, Amanda Voncannon, Amber Voncannon, Gracie Voncannon and Adrianna Voncannon; and six great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by two sons, Bryan Todd Voncannon and Douglas Leo Voncannon.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, May 30, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Swicegood Funeral Home with Pastor Timothy McBride officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. At other times the family will be at the residence of his daughter, Belinda Grady, 265 Kerr Ln. Danville, VA. Interment will follow in Highland Burial Park.
