Linda (Betterton) Meadows

Mrs. Linda Betterton Meadows, age 75, of Danville, VA, passed away on Friday, February 18, 2022 at Roanoke Carillion Hospital in Roanoke, VA.

She was born on December 15, 1946, in Danville, VA, to the late William Harper Betterton and Mildred Ruth Knight Betterton Long.

Before her retirement, Mrs. Meadows worked in the laundry department at Danville Regional Medical Center.

She is survived by her children: Donna Moser; Carl Oliver; and Danny Oliver; four grandchildren; Jeremy Moser and Sarah Moser; Danyelle Haubrock and Michael Haubrock; and  Dustin Oliver; brothers, Robert Long and Richard Long; and her beloved nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Meadows was predeceased by her husband, James Meadows; daughter, Janice Street; and son, Thomas Oliver.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 23, 2022, at Barker Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Hearp officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. The burial will be private.
