Marie L Perkins

Marie Louanne Perkins, age 82, of Danville, Virginia, passed away on Monday August 08, 2022 at Piney Forest Health and Rehabilitation Center.

Marie was born on January 26, 1940, in Danville, Virginia, to the late Doyle P. Perkins and Lilly Sommers Perkins.

Marie worked as a babysitter and was of the Baptist faith.

Marie is survived by her nieces, Paula Hutcherson (Mark Bowles) and Penny Montgomery; great nephew Ed Hutcherson and Reese Bowles; and great niece, Ashley Montgomery.

In addition to her parents Marie was predeceased by her brother, Paul W. Perkins.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, August 11, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Swicegood Funeral Home with Reverend Duane Blevins officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Danville Memorial Gardens.
