Marion Loraine Brown

Marion Loraine Brown, age 90, of Danville, VA, passed away on Tuesday, May 14, 2019, at her residence.

Mrs. Brown was born on September 25, 1928, in Ringgold, VA, a daughter of the late, John Beverly Jones and Louise Daniels Jones. She lived most of her life in Danville where she was employed with Dan River Mills as a spinner. She was married to George T. Brown Jr. who preceded her in death.

Mrs. Brown is survived by her daughters, Rose Barker and Vanessa Linden; a son, Gene Walker; five grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a daughter, Angela Ann Brown and a brother, William Jones.

Graveside services will be conducted on Thursday, May 16, 2019 at 3:00 PM in Mt. View Cemetery.
