Minnie Nadean "Tootie" Adkins

Minnie Nadean “Tootie” Adkins, age 84, of Danville, Virginia, passed away on November 30, at Sovah Danville.

Mrs. Adkins was born on March 22, 1938, in Danville, VA, a daughter of the late, Henry Lee Barber and Lula Ferguson Barber. She lived most of her life in Danville and was married to Carson Adkins who preceded her in death.

Mrs. Adkins is survived by her children, Billy Adkins (Kathy), Connie High (Edward), and Ben Adkins (Monica) ; eight grandchildren; twenty two great grandchildren; niece, Debbie Cochran and her beloved cat, Garfield.

Funeral Services will be conducted on Monday, December 5, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Swicegood Funeral Home with Rev. Brian Edwards officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Danville Memorial Gardens.
