Nellie Strader Obituary
Mrs. Nellie Marie Strader, age 87, of Pelham, North Carolina, passed away on Sunday, August 15, 2021, at Annie Penn Hospital in Reidsville, North Carolina.
Mrs. Strader was born on June 17, 1934, in Reidsville, North Carolina, to the late Numa Meeks and Lelia Meeks Meeks. She worked at Dan River Mills for many years as a weaver until her retirement.
Mrs. Strader is survived by her children, Sharon Stevens (Kerry L. Stevens) and Roger Tourdot, and brothers, Raymond Meeks and Charles Meeks; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Strader was predeceased by her first husband, Dean Tourdot; second husband, Raymond E. Strader; and siblings, Len, Roger, Gary, Marion, Martha, and Gloria Meeks.
A memorial service will be conducted at a later date.
