Patricia Snead

Patricia “Nanny” Snead Patricia Snead, 75, went to be with the Lord on June 16, 2022. She passed away peacefully with her loved ones by her side at Sovah Health Hospital.

Patricia was born August 19,1946 in Danville, VA to the parents of the late Walter “Bud” Doss and Dorothy Doss. She was predeceased by her husband Raymond Snead Sr and her son Walter Snead. Patricia is survived by her daughter, Crystal Snead; son, Raymond Snead Jr (Jami); grand daughter, Brittany Snead (Timothy); great grandson, Nekoda Brandon and special friend, Danny Jones. Patricia is affectionately remembered for her love of family and friends, her contagious laughter and her joyous, sweet spirit. She was of the Christian faith.

The viewing will be held on Sunday, June 19th from 5-6p.m. at Barker Funeral Home. Following her graveside service at 2p.m. on Monday June 20th at Schoolfield Cemetery.
