Obituary

Paul Scearce, age 54, of Danville, VA, Passed away on Friday, April 21, 2023 at his residence.

Mr. Scearce was born on May 24, 1968, in Danville, VA, a son of the late Robert Burton Scearce and Carolyn Annette Scearce. He lived his life in Danville where he was employed with Southern Virginia Mental Health. Mr. Scearce was a member of Westover Baptist Church.

Mr. Scearce is survived by his brother, Burton Scearce (Andrea); nephew, Gage Randall (K.C.); niece and goddaughter, Grace Scearce (Kalure); great nephew, Kace Preston; great niece, Knoelani Preston; work family, Trenace Mantiply and Rhonda Dodson and his friends, Danielle Collins and Jeff Faust.

Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, April 29, 2023 at 2:00 pm at Westover Baptist Church with Pastor Lance Roberts and Pastor Chris Robertson officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will follow in Danville Memorial Gardens.
