Pauline Owen Stout

Mrs. Pauline Owen Stout, age 86, of 892 West Fork Road, Cascade, Virginia, passed away on Saturday, January 2, 2021 at her residence.

“To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord” – 2 Corinthians 5:8

Mrs. Stout was born on March 18, 1934, in Pittsylvania County, to the late Charlie Owen and Annie Bray Owen. She lived most of her life in the West Fork Community and worked as an inspector at Fieldcrest Mills until her retirement. She was a member of West Fork Pentecostal Holiness Church.

Mrs. Stout is survived by her daughter, Katherine Adkins; grandson, Chris Sams (Angel) and great grandchildren, Christian Sams and Julie Sams.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Stout was predeceased by her loving husband of 23 years, Willie Page Stout; son, Johnny Adkins; brothers, Thomas, Tink, Jack, Emerson, Herman, Gaston, Albert and Archie Owen.

Graveside services will be conducted on Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at 2:00 PM in Danville Memorial Gardens with Reverend Alton Bartee and Reverend Joel Jackson officiating. The family will be receiving friends at other times at the residence.
