Randy O. Yeatts, Sr.

 Randy O. Yeatts, Sr., age 80, of Danville, departed this life on Thursday, October 1, 2020 at SOVAH Danville.  He was born in Danville on September 11, 1940 to the late Robert Lee Yeatts and Maude Gunnell Yeatts.  Randy served his country in the United States Marine Corp.  He was a member of the Moose Lodge where he had many friends, and he also loved his extended family at the Pittsylvania County Fairgrounds.  He also loved playing golf with his “Buddies”.Before his retirement, he had worked as an electrician.

Mr. Yeatts is survived by his children, Randy Yeatts, Jr.,of Gibsonville NC,  Rhonda Pizzimenti of Niagra Falls, NY, Christopher Yeatts of Sheffield, OH, Ruth Yeaman of Danville, and Beth Warren, also of Danville;  Eleven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and two sisters, Kathy Kirk and Patricia Farrell.   He also leaves his beloved fur baby, Ginger.  The family would like to send a special “Thank You” to  Vickie Shelton for being such a friend.   In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Johnny Yeatts.

A visitation will be held from 4 – 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 4, 2020 at Barker Funeral Home Chapel.   The family suggests in lieu of flowers, please make donations to Wounded Warriors.
